The main tourist season and period of holiday weather on Skiathos lasts from May through to October, when the weather is warm and dry. Skiathos can be windy, with strong ‘meltemi’ on the north coast in summer, but the south coast is sheltered. Storms can occur throughout the year but are rare in high season.
