Vromolimnos and Kolios
On the other side of the peninsula is the popular Vromolimnos (Blue Flag, bus stop 13). With its pine tree backdrop and copious soft sand, this beach has echoes of the even larger Koukounaries, but its natural beauty means that the beach is highly developed and very busy in high season. There is a watersports hut as well as tavernas and bars (which play music).
Just around the corner is Kolios beach. It is quieter than Vromolimnos, and a pleasant spot although the sand is not as soft and the scenery not as spectacular as at its neighbour. (No watersports).
